Adam followed in his father’s footsteps as a trainee plumber on an apprenticeship at 16 years old. He then worked on various construction sites firstly as a labourer gaining the basic knowledge of the trade, progressing onto plant machinery operator. This involved JCB’s, 360 Excavators, Dumper Trucks and Diggers. Adam can also apply himself  to such skills as bricklaying and plastering proficiently. As time progressed he honed his talents onto the groundworks side of the operation and quickly became site manager. His impressive rise through the ranks saw him promoted to a directorship of which he has held now for 3 years. His CV was bolstered last year when he sub contracted the company out to a major remediation firm from the South West region of the country to work alongside on a large project for Wolverhampton Local Authority. This was a multi million pound venture and emphasised just how far AR Curtis Developments Ltd had come from its humble beginnings to now mixing with the ‘big boys’. A large portion of the project involved PT2A asbestos remediation of approximately 83 residential properties. Adam himself underwent category C training so he could lead by example to be hands on with the rest of the companys employees working on the job. This venture was completed successfully in conjunction  with the main contractors and will lead to future co-operation between the two parties on further projects. Adam is constantly pursuing new oppurtunites for the company to grow and establish itself further as a major force in the construction industry.
